EYEBROW LAMINATION
-
Brow lamination is a noninvasive procedure and a semi-permanent solution for eyebrows that lack shape, do not have symmetry, where the hairs follow a different pattern or have sparse areas. With lamination, we realign the direction of the natural brow pattern in such a way as to give you the desired shape: a fuller, fluffier, and stylistic appearance with one simple appointment.
-
The first step is the perm – it slowly opens the hair follicle and expands it allowing it to be relaxed. The second step is a setting treatment that “sets” the hair into the direction that the hair has been relaxed into during the first step. The third step is a nourishing vitamin and keratin treatment that will infuse into your opened hair follicle and lock in nourishment for the brow hair. This step will need to be left on for 24 hours after your treatment, and the brows must remain dry during that time.
-
Continue your daily skincare routine leading up to your appointment. If you use a retinol, you should discontinue use 5-7 days prior to your lift/lamination treatment & for 5 days after so that your skin does not become dry with the chemical process. We always advise this with waxing as well, in order to keep the skins integrity intact. Do not trim or tweeze your own brows prior to this service for at least 2 weeks so that you can get the best results with the fullest brow possible.
-
You cannot receive this service if you have had any aggressive recent facial procedures (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro needling and laser treatments). If you’re experiencing active acne breakouts or wounds in the brow area this service should not be done on open wounds or active breakouts. If you’re experiencing certain types of hormonal changes or thyroid conditions that cause hair loss you should avoid receiving this service. Additional contraindications would be psoriasis/eczema; recent eye surgery; alopecia; recent permanent make up (must be healed by 6 weeks); sunburn; blood thinners; pink eye; pregnant/nursing, Accutane, AHA, BHA, etc.
-
You can absolutely receive a Brow Lamination treatment if you have sensitive or a reactive skin type, just let us know at the time of your service if your skin is feeling sensitive and we will look to make sure the treatment is a good option for you that day. Though we do everything in our power to ensure you do not have a bad reaction, Brow Lamination is a chemical treatment and should be viewed as such. If a reaction on your skin occurs, we ask that you reach out to us immediately and seek medical help if needed.
-
No. Brow Lamination when done properly will not cause hair loss. Your eyebrows will shed naturally in cycles regardless, it is part of the process of hair rejuvenation and healthy regrowth. Your hair sheds at certain stages and then regrows as it needs to. In order to prevent excessive shedding caused from dry hair or lack of nutrients to the follicle, daily use castor oil will help hydrate existing follicles & stimulate growth with nourishment. If your brows are properly cared for after your treatment & the service provider is well trained you should see more brow growth over time, never sudden loss of hair in large amounts or patches. Brow lamination does not cause any long-term damage to the brow hair. High quality products that we use have been custom formulated to be gentle on the hair and skin.
lash lifts
-
day of your lash lift
avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 4 hours
skip mascara for the rest of the day
try not to sleep on your face the first night
throughout the day (and before bed), make sure your lashes aren’t bent, twisted, or pushed out of shape
avoid hot steam and saunas for the next 2–3 days
maintenance & daily habits
mascara and false lashes are okay once healedwhen removing makeup, be gentle—use up-and-down motions rather than side-to-side. friction is the main cause of lash breakage.
if you sleep on your face or side, you may wake up with lashes looking a little crimped (similar to bedhead)
simply rinse your face and lashes in the morning and brush them back into place. a coating essence works best for this.
most lash damage comes from friction—things like rubbing your eyes or sleeping directly on your lashes—so handle them gently.
moisturizing your lashes after a lash lift is highly recommended
for best results, use either a coating essence or a silk protein treatment:
silk protein treatment → think of this like a leave-in conditioner for your lashes
coating essence → think of this like a protective gel or hair oil; it hydrates, adds flexibility, and helps prevent breakage
-
average is around 2 months but it depends on your natural lash lift cycle!
-
we recommend waiting 8–10 weeks before your next lash lift, or until about 80% of the lashes have grown out and look straightthis timing helps prevent overprocessing and damage.
a lash lift doesn’t “fall” — it grows out
around the 4–6 week mark, you may notice an awkward phase where some lashes are lifted and others are straight. this is completely normal.
-
of course! most of our clients are pleasantly surprised that their lashes are longer than they thought.
-
when done carefully and professionally, lash lifts should not damage your natural lashes.
the Korean Lash Lift technique ensures that your natural lashes will not be over-processed and includes two nourishing and strengthening treatments to nourish your natural eyelashes.
lash extensions
-
A full set will last as long as your natural lash cycle, which is anywhere from 4-6 weeks, depending on the individual. We recommend getting a fill anywhere between 2 and 3 weeks.
-
YES! We do not recommend wearing any mascara that isn’t extension safe or oil-based products, as it will shorten the life of your lash extensions.
-
NO! When applied properly, with perfect isolation and weight, eyelash extensions will not harm your natural lashes.
Our lash artist are all experienced and certified, the most important thing to them is the integrity of your natural lash. During your initial consultation they will evaluate your natural lashes to ensure you get the lashes that work best for your natural lashes so that you will never have damage or breakage!
-
Reactions are not too common, but they do happen, and it does seem possible to gradually acquire an intolerance for the adhesive.
-
Primarily take a patch test to check for sensitivity to the adhesive. Taking a Pepcid AC with Benadryl helps reduce swelling, redness, and block for further reactions. This however is not a solve all solution, people can still have reactions.
SPRAY TANNING
-
Absolutely not! The solution we use contains olive or violet components to give a nice brown tan.
-
Book the tan 2 days before your event. This allows for you to get optimum timing for your lifestyle.
-
Whether you have been sprayed with a rapid or traditional tan, do not get wet, sweat, have skin on skin contact (on your own body and with others) until you rinse off. Avoid washing dishes and working out. We recommend not working out for the first 24 hours.
-
Spray Tans are perfect for vacations. Keep in mind if you’re going to be in sand and water, make sure to moisturize daily.
DO NOT book for the day you will be traveling. This is to avoid any weird lines or marks made from sitting on planes or cars.
-
Spray tans have ZERO SPF protection. Please make sure you use an oil-free sunblock to protect your skin and tan!
-
Water acts an exfoliant to your spray tan. When interacting with water, you want to make sure you rinse off with fresh water and moisturize daily to keep your tan looking fresh.
-
We recommend clean products that are spray tan safe. Stay away from oils that may break down your tan.
Body Wash:
Dr. Bonner’s
Glo Bar Soap (tan safe)
Native Body Wash
Shea Moisture
Lotion:
Hempz
Aveeno
Exfoliation:
Exfoliation Gloves
Body Scrubs (avoid sugar scrubs)
Exfoliation Mitts
SPF:
Supergoop
Sunbum
Coola
(no aerosol, only lotion based)
-
Spray tans are essentially a stain on the skin, and our skin sheds every 21 days. Too speed up this process, exfoliate to remove those dead skin cells. This will help any lingering tan come off. This is a gradual process, so give yourself multiple days to get the old tan off. You can use exfoliation mitts, scrubs, warm baths, jump in a pool or hot tub. Any old tan still on will show on your new spray tan.
-
Please consult with your doctor prior to booking! Wear nipple covers or a bra while you are getting sprayed. Keep in mind no skin-to-skin contact, so pump or nurse closest to your appointment. Prep bottles ahead of time to avoid latching during development. The tan will transfer on the to the baby if feeding before you rinse. Please wait until rinse to feed.
teeth whitening
-
The shade of your tooth enamel may be the result of:
Eating habits – strongly pigmented foods such as blackberries or blueberries will stain the teeth
Drinking habits – strongly pigmented drinks such as colas, black tea, coffee, or red wine also stain the teeth
Smoking habits – nicotine causes yellow staining
Drugs and chemicals – some will discolor the teeth; if tetracycline is given during childhood, it will embed stains as the teeth develop. This type of staining is deep and harder to remove.
Genetic factors – we each have an inborn tooth enamel shade
Other factors that can discolor teeth include gum disease, tooth infection, medications, and trauma to the tooth. This type of darkening or discoloration does not respond to topical tooth whitening solutions. When the cause of your tooth discoloration is one of these factors, we recommend options such as teeth whitening with porcelain veneers or dental crowns to cover the tooth and improve its appearance.
-
Before the whitening treatment begins, your lips and gums are protected with a special gel. Next, the surfaces of your teeth are painted with a whitening agent. This agent is activated with a LED light. After about 30 minutes, the whitening agent is removed, and then reapplied for one more treatment. Each whitening session takes about one hour and can lighten your teeth as much as 7 to 9 shades in a single session.
-
After you undergo teeth whitening, it’s important to take steps to maintain your results for as long as possible. Your bright new smile won’t last forever, especially if you return to the habits that caused your teeth to darken in the first place. However, with a little care and attention, you can enjoy your pearly white smile for years to come. Please see aftercare instructions.
-
In addition to not smoking, you can prevent premature stains by limiting your intake of certain foods and beverages. Sugary snacks and drinks, especially those that are dark in color, will inevitably stain your teeth. By minimizing the amount of stain-causing foods you consume, you can help preserve your smile’s whiteness. One easy way to limit the staining effect of dark beverages is to drink them through a straw. This will reduce your front teeth’s exposure to the substance, keeping your smile line white and attractive.
-
No. Dental porcelain and bonding are not affected by teeth whitening agents, and neither are gold alloys or dental amalgam. If you are planning any dental work such as porcelain veneers or tooth-colored fillings, you should have the teeth whitening done first so that your dentist can match the restoration material to your new teeth color. Whitening will not work on caps, veneers, crowns or fillings. It also won’t be effective if your tooth discoloration is caused by medications or a tooth injury.
-
Yes. Please inform us if your teeth are particularly sensitive. We can prescribe you treatments to desensitize your teeth before the procedure.
You may experience some mild sensitivity to teeth and gums, which normally subsides a day after treatment.
-
Yes. We use a safe percentage of Carbamide Peroxide. Furthermore, no adverse effects will result from ingesting the peroxide gel. It will simply pass through your system without causing any damage.
-
There are no recorded instances of irreversible or structural damage caused by any teeth whitening methods. You may experience temporary tooth sensitivity, but that is not damaging to the tooth. Teeth whitening doesn’t damage your tooth enamel. The main portion of the tooth, the dentin, is the portion of the tooth that’s responsible for your teeth’s color.
Whitening your teeth will not cause any permanent damage to your gums; however temporary gum irritation is among the risk factors of using professional teeth whitening. Soft tissue or gum irritation caused by teeth whitening gel is considered a chemical burn, very comparable to a sunburn.

You will see immediate results from your in-office teeth whitening. Each client’s results vary.
